1. A Quiet Promise

ReadNest is built on a small, honest idea: your reading life is yours alone. This policy exists to explain, plainly, how the app treats your data. The short version is that ReadNest keeps everything on your device — there is no account, no cloud, and no company-side copy of your reading history.

2. Local-Only Data

On-Device Storage: Every minute you log, every streak you build, and every daily goal you set is stored locally on your phone. ReadNest never syncs this information to a server, and there is no login for us to attach it to.

No Hidden Analytics: The app does not include third-party analytics SDKs, ad networks, or telemetry tools that quietly report your activity back to us or anyone else.

3. Device Permissions

ReadNest asks only for the permissions it actually needs to function. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, or files outside its own storage.

4. Third Parties

Because your reading data never leaves your device, there is nothing to sell, share, or hand to advertisers. We don't work with data brokers and we don't run ads inside the app.

If we ever change how ReadNest handles data, we'll update this page and refresh the "Last updated" date above. Since there are no user accounts, we encourage you to check back occasionally.
